Blind street photography in Central London

Blind street photography in Central London

During two lunch time breaks I went for a walk in Central London (I'm working in St James's Park) and took my camera with me.

I was experimenting my new Sigma 10-20mm lens and decided to capture the Central London's life shooting along without looking thru the view finder.

The camera was held at knees level or chest level resting in one arm and held with the other hand. As I walked, when I approach some interesting persons, faces or activities I just position myself so the lens is barely pointing to the good direction.

As it is a very wide angle lens, my shutter speed of around 1/200 sec was enough to freeze what is important and to give sharp images.

I was very amazed with the results. The low position of the camera gave some quite interesting angle of shot.
